As Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Disability Group (CDG) I lead meetings with speakers, help develop the skills of our members and mentor and support them to find voluntary and paid work. One fifth of people in the UK have a disability and they often face barriers into work.
With three tough by elections on the same day, I was delighted to do all I could to help Steve Tuckwell win in Uxbridge. What an amazing result that was. Going back to Uxbridge brought me back down memory lane when I helped John Randall in 1997 as a young agent.
